Too Cute: Lucky Man Cuddles a Lovable Baby Elephant (VIDEO)

Credit :

Inspired by watching "Dumbo" as a child, you may be compelled to hug a baby elephant you happen upon while on safari or at the zoo. Mama elephants are known to charge or squash perceived threats to their young, and, while I don't know you, I'd say the size differential is enough to say: Don't.

Instead, live vicariously through Arthur, the companion of YouTube user Vivian H., who cuddles a baby elephant at Patara Elephant Farm in Chiangmai, Thailand.

The Patara website explains that the farm focuses on "health-care and breeding management" for its elephants, and it gives visitors a "hands-on experience on participating, sharing responsibilities and taking care of an elephant."

Vivian H. describes the experience:

"This included feeding the elephants their daily meals, inspecting and squeezing out the water from fresh stool, bathing, scrubbing and washing the elephants in the river, and finally exercising the elephants in the jungle."

At the end of the day, they were allowed the opportunity to play with a two-month-old female calf named Tara. The camcorder came on, and this landmark moment in the history of cuddling began.
