The trailer video for the finale episode has shown Sookie desperately trying to get Bill to cure himself, but so far he has refused to do so. He is tired of everything and has the belief that if he is out of the way then Sookie can live a happier life without him.

Some recent spoilers are claiming that Bill will eventually give in to Sookie's wish, and that the two will get to live happily ever after.

Other spoilers have highlighted the episode's promotional photo, which shows Sookie crying tears of blood. Some have interpreted that to indicate that Sookie will finally become a vampire so that she and Bill can live together forever.

However, it must be emphasized that those are only rumors and it remains to be seen how things will play out.

Moyer has said ahead of the finale: "One of the things we've been good at is surprising the audience, not always giving them what they want or expect," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
