Tyrese Gibson Meltdown: 'Fast & Furious' Star Cries Over Custody Battle, Slams The Rock Anew

It has been an emotional week for "Fast & Furious" star Tyrese Gibson. The actor had a public meltdown about two different issues and instances.

On Wednesday, Nov. 1, Gibson posted a video on Facebook where he's crying his heart out over the possibility of losing his 10-year-old daughter Shyla. The actor is in the middle of a messy custody battle with ex-wife Norma.

Gibson made a plea in the video about not taking his daughter away from him. Norma's lawyer, Aleen Khanjian, on the other hand, stated that Gibson knew the exact court order. He had a monitored visit with Shyla the night before but he came late and only spent five minutes with the girl.

Police have been investigating Gibson for allegedly beating Shyla in August. The actor, however, claims he did nothing wrong.

"His emotional outburst yesterday was nothing more than a means of misleading and manipulating his friends and fans," Khanjian said.

Following his personal drama, Gibson posted another message on social media. This time, the actor slammed Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, whom he's been feuding with since last year.

Gibson threatened he'll quit the ninth "Fast & Furious" film if Johnson is still in the cast. He has been part of the franchise for six installments, while Johnson has been in three.

Allegedly, Johnson made a private deal to star in a "Fast & Furious" spinoff that would impact the franchise and everyone who worked on it. Gibson saw this as a personal attack on his family and his "daughter's survival," alluding that he could lose income if the ninth film is delayed in favor of Johnson's spinoff. Filming for "Fast & Furious 9" was actually pushed to accommodate director Justin Lin's schedule.

Fans grew concerned over Gibson's meltdowns but the actor released another video to say that he's alright despite what transpired in the last few days. Gibson also said he and his new wife, Samantha Lee, are planning to expand their family.
