Upcoming Windows Phones 2015: Introducing the Biggest WP-Powered Handset With 7-Inch Display
Microsoft has done everything to keep the Windows Phone brand afloat, at least before the Windows 10 officially launches. However, most smartphone users still prefer the more mature systems of iOS and Android.
However, for consumers who are interested in phones with big displays, and cheap price tags, this may be the best option to be available soon in the vast Chinese market.
According to a report by Phone Arena, a virtually unknown Chinese manufacturer is rumored to announce a brand new device, dubbed Ramos Q7.
Indicated by the number "7," the smartphone boasts a 7-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution, as well as some entry-level specs.
In the report, the device runs on a Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP primary shooter, 2MP front camera, and a whopping 4,000mAh of battery.
The device was reportedly showcased recently in an event in Hong Kong, and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8.1.
Unfortunately, there are still no exact details when the device would be available and how much it would cost.
If this smartphone does get released and gains the attention of the budget-conscious Chinese market, then Microsoft can certainly learn a thing or two that can help improve its Lumia lineup.
