Uruguay vs Slovenia Live Stream Free: Watch Online World Cup 2014 Warm-up Friendly Football
Uruguay will play Slovenia on Wednesday night in a pre-World Cup 2014 friendly, and with the World Cup set to start next week, Uruguay will be wanting to ramp up their preparations and have things ready to hit the ground running from game 1. Tonight's game will start at 7.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
Uruguay have been drawn in Group D in the World Cup, which is set to kick off in Brazil in less than two weeks time now.
Alongside them in Group D will be England, Costa Rica and Italy, in what is one of the most difficult groups in this year's World Cup.
That means every single one of the group games will count, and there will be no room for mistakes, which means preparations ahead of the tournament are even more important for these teams.
Today's game against Slovenia will take place at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo, and is likely to feature most of the starting eleven from Uruguay.
Uruguay won't be entirely happy with their preparations so far; last Friday they stumbled to a struggling win over Northern Ireland 1-0, but were far from impressive, and were well away from the standard they will be satisfied with for the World Cup.
Slovenia will not be taking part in the World Cup this summer, having failed to qualify, but they will look to provide a stern test for their South American opponents today.
Uruguay's first game in the World Cup will be against Costa Rica and will take place on June 14.
