Vivo X6 Rumors: Weibo Post Leaks Smartphone's Specs
A recent post on Chinese social media network Weibo has leaked the specs of the upcoming Vivo X6 smartphone.
In the said Weibo post, the Vivo X6 smartphone was revealed to have high-end specs and premium price tag. But the leak also shows that the device is designed to be pitted against the mobile giants. Among the leaked specs are a Helio X20 chip, 21-megapixel camera, and quick-charge feature, according to the Press Examiner.
The Vivo X6 will also come with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage. Users of the smartphone can expect a better video and gaming experience because 1 GB of its RAM will be dedicated for video play, the report adds.
The flagship smartphone will come with a 21-megapixel rear snapper with IMX300 sensor and a 12-megapixel front camera. It will also have a fingerprint scanner that can be used for wireless payment transactions. The Vivo X6 will come with a price tag of $470 (CNY3,000), the report details.
Other rumored specs of the Vivo X6 include 5.5-inch and 6-inch displays, Force Touch technology, and quad-HD resolution. The smartphone will also be powered with a 4,000 mAh battery, Yibada reports.
The Vivo X6 is now all set for its release after it passed the 3C certification in China. The flagship phone will be available in the X6A and X6L variants. Although the certification did not disclose any details about the two variants, the Vivo X6L is expected to be the bigger unit with haptic touch technology, the report relays.
It is worth noting that Vivo has already confirmed some of the rumored specs of the Vivo X6. While there is still no confirmed release date for the device, consumers are hoping that the new flagship device of the Chinese phonemaker will also be launched in Western countries.
