They were scheduled to clash earlier in the calendar year but it was postponed, and now their clash is set to begin in the capital of the USA.
Both teams have relatively similar records as the Wizards are hovering below the .500 mark as they try to get better in the second half of the season to try and secure a spot in the playoffs.
On the other hand, the Jazz are at the .500 mark right now but they really need to step it up if they want to reach the post-season as they are situated in a tougher Western Conference.
Washington have had difficulty getting consistency. Injuries have also been one of the issues that have slowed them down.
However, they still have the pieces to be a strong team, beginning with the great backcourt partnership of John Wall and Bradley Beal.
Wall is one of the better players in the league – as proof, he participated in the All-Star Game. He can score, pass the ball and can handle the team well.
On the other hand, Beal is a streaky shooter who can turn things on quickly and put up a lot of points for the Wizards.
On the other hand, Gordon Hayward is the Jazz's best offensive option, with players like Rudy Gobert, Derrick Favors and Rodney Hood who are also capable young stars.
