WWE Battleground Triple Threat Match: Money in the Bank Result for Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins; Fight Date and Their Accomplishments

The much anticipated Triple Threat match on WWE Battleground is taking place this July 24, 2016. Fans are looking forward for this unique match as The Shield performs onstage this time as one team beating each other up for the World Heavyweight Championship Belt.

Triple Threat came about after Money In The Bank, when Rollins defeated Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship Belt. With that Ambrose cashed in his Money In The Bank thus making him the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Reigns comung back from suspension

Former champ, Roman Reigns is likely to lose the spot in this Triple Threat match due to a 30-day suspension because of a wellness violation. For a year, Reigns held the tile and after that Rollins got a taste of it shortly, and now Ambrose will have a chance to defend the belt.

Reigns should be back from suspension in time for the WWE Battleground and make it to the Triple Threat Match. There are also reports that Ambrose will lose the title and it is not clear yet on who will win between Reigns and Rollins.

During the time that Reigns was champ, WWE earned a high rating and it might be possible that WWE will take advantage of this.

Accomplishments

It is important to take note of each of these personalities' background and accomplishments. A Samoan-American wrestler whose birthname is Leati Joseph Anoa'I, Roman Reigns is the co-founder of The Shield together with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Long before he went into wrestling, Reigns signed in for the Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars for the NFL in 2007. However, he did not make it to the final roster. He was also a Florida Tag Team Champion.

Seth Rollins, on the other hand, won the WWE Development League's first NXT Championship before he became famous. Formerly called Tyler Black, he joined in The Shield with his friends Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. He was seen training in John Cena's gym, thus making his WWE TV debut.

The other member of The Shield is Dean Ambrose who came out in 2012 and formed one-third of The Shield's wrestling stable of the WWE. Before Ambrose became famous, he spent more than half a decade at the Heartland Wrestling Association. He was also at Insanity Pro Wrestling for four years. He was already wrestling in independent promotions before finding his way to WWE's developmental territory.

Intense battle

These three former members of The Shield will be fighting their hearts out at the WWE Battleground and it is exciting to see how these mates will be playing and show their sportsmanship with each other. It is also a must see on how they will fight with each other on the same level.
