"We are truly honored to have Sting take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame. His contributions to our industry are unprecedented, and we look forward to celebrating his incredible career with fans all over the world," said WWE Vice President of Talent, Creative and Live Events Paul Levesque, also known as Triple H.

Sting began his professional wrestling career in 1985, under the Continental Wrestling Association using the ring name "Flash". He worked his way up to the ladder of fame and recognition, until he was signed by World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1987 and spent 14 years of his career with the said company.

Sting finally made an appearance with the WWE in 2014, where he shared a story about his former tag team partner, the late Ultimate Warrior. His most recent appearance was in August of last year, in a match against Seth Rollins.

Meanwhile, updates on the WWE 2K16 Future Stars pack have been released.

A report by Ross Tweddell for What Culture says that the pack will include NXT Superstars Samoa Joe, and Blake and Murphy, and Los Matadores. It is the third DLC pack to be released after the New Moves Pack, wherein players are given the option to use 30 more moves, and the Legends Pack, which featured some of the WWE's legends such as Trish Stratus, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, and Big Boss Man, just to name a few.

The Future Stars pack will be available on January 26 and it is for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
