'X Factor 2015' News: Simon Cowell Shreds 'Overs' Contestants
The viewers, and even contestants, were left in awe, upon hearing Simon Cowell's comments in the "X Factor 2015" last night.
According to the Daily Star UK, the 56-year-old judge seems to be in a foul mood even before the show started, and the poor "Overs" contestants received Cowell's brutal lashing during the Six-Chair Challenge round.
The show started with the Six-Chair performance by Holly Johnson, who sang Pharrell William's "Happy." Instead of being "happy," the head judge directly said it was an easy "No" for him. Nick Grimshaw was shocked by Cowell's reaction, in which Cheryl Fernandez-Versini replied with, "Welcome to the world of Simon Cowell."
"I can't believe that I've been stuck with this category," Cowell said harshly.
Cowell's sour mood continued during Max Stone's performance of Bob Marley's "Turn Your Lights Down Low." He gave Stone a seat, however, he did not escape without Cowell's nasty comments like "people are not going to like him very much," and that he has "a very shut down personality."
Joining Stone in the chairs were Vicky Ann Nash, Joseph McCaul, Stephanie McCourt, and Kerrie-ann Phillips. According to Telegraph UK, Anton Stephans has too much personality, but finally warmed the foul-mood Cowell with his rendition of Luther Vandross' "A House Is Not a Home."
McCourt was the first to lose a chair, after Tonatha Raihan won a seat. Zen Blythe was next to steal a seat from Nash, but audience begged Nash to be brought back. Cowell gave her a seat, but asked McCaul to stand up from his chair.
Stone and Nash lost their seats to Hannah Marie Kilminster and Jennifer Phillips. "I love you. Let's get the obvious out the way Jennifer, you are having a seat," Cowell said to the latter.
Bupsi and Ebru took seats from Raihan and Blythe, and when everything seems to be over, Cowell changed his mind, and asked Stone to be brought back on stage. Stone took his seat back from Kilminster.
Cowell's final "Overs" group is composed of Anton Stephans, Bupsi, Ebru, Kerrie-Anne Phillips, Jennifer Phillips, and Max Stone.
