Meanwhile, Xbox 360 gamers with Xbox Live Gold subscriptions will be treated to free games such as "Darksiders" and "Assassin's Creed: Revelations." Both game titles are also playable on the Xbox One console, thanks to Microsoft's Backward Compatibility feature.
Vigil Games' "Darksiders" is a third-person role-playing hack and slash video game that follows War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Ordinarily priced at $19.99, the game features exploration as well as puzzles. The game is currently available for download for Xbox Live Gold subscribers as of April 1 and will be free of charge until April 15.
Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed: Revelations," on the other hand, is an action-adventure open world video game that centers on the character Ezio in his journey to become a master assassin in a world where a long-time feud between the Assassins and the Templars endures.
