Xbox One Bundles Available for Pre-order in Denmark, Beligium Russia and Switzerland
Two new Xbox One bundles are now available for pre-order in various countries including Denmark, Belgium, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden and the Netherlands.
They were first spotted by a Neogaf post and one of them includes the system Kinect bundle, FIFA 15, Forza 5, and Dance Central Spotlight for €500. The other drops the Dance Central Spotlight and is priced at €400.
The Xbox One will launch for the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark and 23 other countries in September. Microsoft has not announced if these bundles will be available in other territories.
Microsoft released the Xbox One console in the U.S. and many other countries at the end of last year. The PS4 launched around the same time and the Nintendo competitor, the Wii U hit stores just one year prior. Microsoft priced the One at $100 more than the PS4 due to the built-in Kinect device.
The system features 8GB of RAM, an 8-Core CPU, 500GB hard drive, a Blu-ray drive, HDMI in and out ports, USB 3.0, 802.11n wireless, and a built-in Kinect sensor. Microsoft describes the Xbox One as an "all in one system" that is made for encompassing games, entertainment and television all into one device.
The Xbox One is designed to improve over time thanks to cloud computing. The console has have the ability to communicate with servers in the cloud to increase the computational potential of the system. Xbox One Director of development Boyd Multerer commented on the relationship around the time of the console's release.
"[As a developer] I can start doing things like shifting latency insensitive things to the cloud. You may have a limited number of transistors in your house, but you have an unlimited number of transistors in the cloud," he said.
