You'll Cry Watching This Emotional Dance Routine About a Mother's Love (VIDEO)
When Hungarian dance troupe Attraction auditioned for the seventh season of "Britain's Got Talent" last year, judge Simon Cowell was skeptical. Okay, nothing new for Cowell, but he had a point: Why was a Hungarian dance troupe trying out for the British competition?
"We'd like to be well-known in the world," said Attraction founder Zoltán Szűcs. "And 'Britain's Got Talent' is the biggest talent show in the world."
Then the troupe proceeded to floor the audience and judges with an emotional shadow dance routine that portrayed a couple falling in love and the ensuing tragedy when the husband and new father goes to war. Attraction handily moved on to the next round.
In this video from the semifinals on June 1, the routine opens with a young mother and her baby son. The story is based on Zoltán Szűcs' life, and follows the boy as he grows up and his mother ages. It's another stunningly creative performance that leaves viewers a wreck.
With showings like these, it should be no surprise that Attraction won the whole competition and is now indeed well-known.
