Zopo Speed 7C Announced, Specs Include 5-Inch Display, 2 GB of RAM, 13.2MP Camera; Comes with Wood Cover
Shenzhen-based smartphone maker Zopo has unveiled two devices under the Speed-series line during the Mobile World Congress 2016. One is its flagship device called the Speed 8, while the other is a midrange device dubbed as the Speed 7C. According to a report by Gadgets 360, the Speed 7C is a smartphone sporting a 5-inch HD IPS display. It has a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and comes with a pixel density of 293ppi.
Under the hood, the device is packed with a 3 GHz 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC, coupled with 2 GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. Its internal storage space is 16 GB, which can be expanded further via a microSD card slot. It measures 146.1x70.6x8.65 mm and weighs 136 grams.
What makes the handset unique is that it comes with a range of rear covers that have an attractive wooden finish that really adds to its design. Phones Review detailed that the available back covers that include Bamboo, Black Apricot, Phoenix Feather, and Ebony.
Moreover, other specs of the device include a 13.2-megapixel rear camera that comes with LED flash, Omnivision OV13850 sensor, 5P lenses and f/2.2 aperture. On the front is a 5-megapixel camera for taking selfies and video calls. It also comes with f/2.8 aperture and OmniVision OV5670 sensor. The Zopo Speed 7C will run with the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box and will support dual-SIM.
As for its battery life, the device carries a 2,500mAh removable battery. The connectivity options included are 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, and a micro USB port. The handset also comes with the basic sensors that include Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and Proximity sensor.
There are no details yet regarding the price and the availability of the phone, but Zopo previously mentioned that the model will be making its way outside China and be shipped to international markets like France, Italy, Spain, and Czech Republic.
