2016 Honda Civic Coupe Debuts at LA Auto Show

The 2016 Honda Civic Coupe was finally unveiled to the public during the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show ahead of its March 2016 release.

The 10th-generation Civic comes with a host of upgrades in its physical and technological aspects. For a start, the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe now has a lower roofline, more compact appearance, and more sporty design, according to Product Reviews.

It is worth noting that the 2016 Civic Coupe is the first car in the lineup to feature a turbo engine, which will give the car better fuel efficiency, power, and performance, the report adds.

When it comes to the interior, the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe will have Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Honda Sensing safety and driver-assistive system, and other state-of-the-art connectivity components. The car will also make use of soft-touch materials and high standard finishes. Its panel comes with molded stitching, and the seat fabrics are made of premium material, Sports Car Illustrated reports.

The newest Civic's upgraded features include a more spacious cabin with increased leg room, which is a 5-inch difference from its predecessor. The total interior space is also 8.4 cubic feet more compared to the previous edition. The car also has a new chassis, high crash safety ratings, and class-leading fuel economy ratings, the report details.

As for the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe's outer appearance, its sportier look is attributed to its bold front fascia, athletic wheels, wider body, shorter front overhang, wider stance, and fast-back profile. Its lower seating position also allows customers to enjoy a low and wide driving experience, the report relays.

As of now, the pricing details of the 2016 Civic are still unavailable. More information about the new car are expected to emerge as the release date nears.

Aside from the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe, other Honda vehicles to be released in the next 18 months include the Civic Sedan, Civic 5-door hatchback, Civic Si, and the new Civic Type-R.
