50 Cent Throws Horrible First Pitch at Mets Game, Everyone Has a Ball With Funny Headlines (VIDEO)

50 Cent had a terrible first pitch at the Mets game against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Citi Field Tuesday night. The left-handed rapper's wind up looked decent, but his aim was way off as the ball sailed far left of home plate.

50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson III in nearby Jamaica, Queens, wore a custom Mets jersey for the occasion with his last name and signature number on the back. Most celebrities' poor pitches end up not making the entire 60-foot distance from the mound to the plate, but 50 did far worse— he missed catcher Anthony Recker by a mile and nearly hit the cameraman.

The "In Da Club" rapper had no choice but to smile and shrug it off. Media outlets, though, had a ball of a time coming up with headlines about 50's horrible pitch.

"Watch 50 Cent throw away his street cred," the Washington Times joked.

"50 Cent just threw a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad pitch," a Huffington post headline read.

"50 Cent not on money with 1st pitch at Citi Field," AJC.com posted, with the Associated Press calling the 38-year-old hip-hop mogul "comically off target."

After hearing the jokes and funny headlines about his off-kilter throw, 50 Cent responded via social media.

"I'm a hustler not a damn ball player. LMAO," the rapper captioned an Instagram video, adding that people should "stop talking about my pitch."

The rapper certainly isn't the first celebrity to mess up handily on the first pitch. Carly Rae Jepsen, Mariah Carey, Howard Stern and Victoria Beckham have all screwed up their throws on camera.
