$99 HP TouchPad Sale: $149 TouchPad at Best Buy Alongside Upcoming Black Friday 2011 Deals
The bargain sale price of a $149 TouchPad, the tablet device by Hewlett-Packard, started officially Tuesday on the company's website, as The Christian Post reported yesterday. But the device will soon be accompanied by other smashing electronics bargains as Black Friday 2011 nears the mega-store.
The webOS-based HP TouchPad tablet is available in the 32GB-version for $149 rather than the 16GB for $99, as previously expected. But this is still a solid deal, observers say. Best Buy offers the tablet for the bargain price in combination with a purchase of an HP laptop or PC.
Best Buy's top HP PC bargain is a Compaq desktop computer for $300 with 2GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 1.65 GHz AMD E processor, six USB 2.0 ports, and Windows Home 7 Premium (64-bit), according to PC World. Although that still raises the purchase price to over $449, it is, according to most sources, the best deal on the tablet market.

"Stay connected wherever you go with an HP TouchPad tablet at an unbeatable price!" Best Buy entices costumers on its website. "When you purchase a TouchPad along with a qualifying HP or Compaq laptop, desktop or all-in-one computer, you'll have an opportunity to get it for just $149.99."
Notebooks do not, apparently, guarantee the deal.
Some commentators have been critical of the strange arrangement.
"HP is trying to get people to start buying its computers again because everybody stopped," Michael Disabato, managing vice president of network and telecom at Gartner, told Newsfactor.
Meanwhile, as the upcoming Black Friday 2011 keeps future customers excited, information about deals to be offered at Best Buy have slowly been leaking out.
As CP reported Wednesday, GizmoCrunch has recently posted up some of the most exciting bargains that the retail giant will be offering the day after Thanksgiving. Among those are Microsoft Xbox 360 250 GB Console Holiday Bundle together with a $50 Best Buy gift card for just $299.99, and the Western Digital My Book Essential 3TB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive for $129.99.
Other bargains include the Fujifilm FinePix REAL 3D W3 10-megapixel Digital Camera, on sale for $199.99- thet is $99 cheaper than its price in March. Another camera deal on offer will reportedly be Olympus PEN E-P2 12.3-megapixel Digital Micro Four-Thirds Camera. It will come bundled with the Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens for $469. This deal allows a consumer to save $202. The E-P2 has a 3-inch LCD, HD video captures in 720p, face detection, image stabilization, dust reduction system, SD card slot, HDMI output and USB interface.
