Adele's 'Hello' Broke Records after Selling 1 Million Tracks in Just a Week

Adele has just proven that her loyal fans did not abandon her, after her long break. Just after a week from releasing her latest single, which is titled "Hello," the British singer has now sold over 1 million digital copies.

According to Stuff New Zealand, Adele has now sold around 1.1 million digital songs, and has also broken the record on the Billboard charts, when her new song became the first single ever to break the 1 million download mark.

The website added that the 27-year-old singer has beaten Justin Bieber's record, who only had over 276,000 downloads for his single "Sorry." Adele's new digital download record was recently published according to Nielsen Music's data. The last best-selling digital song download in a single week, according to the outfit, was from rapper Flo Rida, whose song "Right Round" sold about 636,000 downloads in 2009.
