'Agent Carter' Season 2: Premiere Date To Be Announced at NYCC
"Agent Carter" season 2 has been building up anticipation from its fans, and there are reports that Marvel will announce the series' official release date during the New York Comic-Con (NYCC).
On Oct. 9, the cast members and producers of Agent Carter and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will attend the panel event at the New York Comic-Con. Marvel has already released a poster teasing Peggy Carter's new look for season 2 of the show, according to Realty Today.
In the said poster, Hayley Atwell's character is posing in front of a hotel in Los Angeles looking very different. The teaser poster prompted people to speculate that Agent Carter will have a new setting for its second installation, the report details.
Marvel said the poster is now available for purchase from its booth at the NYCC, the report adds.
The new episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is also expected to be unveiled during the Comic-Con. Because of this announcement, fans are hoping that Marvel will also air a sneak peek for "Agent Carter" season 2.
There are rumors saying Marvel does not want the NYCC panel event to be live-streamed because they do not want the preview for "Agent Carter" season 2 to be leaked in the Web, Fashion and Style reports.
Earlier reports say "Agent Carter" season 2 has already begun production and will begin airing in January next year.
Meanwhile, Atwell revealed that she personally did some of the stunts seen in "Agent Carter" season 2. She shared how two stunt coordinators helped prepare her for the stunts, especially the difficult ones that involved her wearing a pencil skirt. In addition, Atwell said the stunts were cathartic for her because they served as an outlet for her frustrations and stress.
"Agent Carter" season 2 will reportedly begin airing this winter during the midseason break of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." However, the official premiere date of the action series is still unconfirmed.
