Alicia Vikander Secretly Ties the Knot With Michael Fassbender in an Eco-Friendly Ibiza Wedding
Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander just got married over the weekend in a rather eco-friendly ceremony.
Three years after meeting on the set of "Light Between Two Oceans," Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander have finally tied the knot. The couple was on vacation in Ibiza over the weekend, and little did everyone know that they would be getting married there.
A report published by the Daily Mail claims that Fassbender and Vikander's wedding ceremony was held at the eco-hotel Agroturismo Can Marti in Ibiza, Spain. The hotel contains a Turkish bath coupled with a natural swimming pool. Not only that, the Agroturismo Can Marti has their own solar panels which generate electricity and hot water for them. Furthermore, the hotel has their own farm and it has been revealed that portions of the food prepared for the ceremony were harvested from it.

"All the food they ate was local cuisine, some of which was grown on the farm they were staying on," a source told The Sun.
The couple got married on Saturday, but prior to that, Fassbender and Vikander enjoyed a boat party on Friday which lasted until 6 am. The day after the wedding, the newly-weds organized brunch for all of their guests. Pictures of the two were published by both The Daily Mail and The Sun during their brunch, and what's getting the most attention about those photos were the golden bands that the Fassbender and Vikander were sporting on their ring fingers.
While the couple maybe one of Hollywood's most recognizable names today, they had managed to keep most of their relationship private. The two portrayed husband and wife in "Light Between Two Oceans" and that is where they fell in love. Vikander, 29, and Fassbender, 40, were forced to live together for a whole month just for the film, and it should be noted that the actor was reluctant at first. However, prior to their film together, Vikander already caught Fassbender's eye during the 2013 Toronto Film Festival.
