'All My Babies' Mamas' Rapper Fighting for Show After Being Scrapped by Oxygen?
Carlos "Shawty Lo" Walker, a rapper hailing from Atlanta, Ga., is reportedly fighting to keep his upcoming reality television show "All My Babies' Mamas" on the air after Oxygen network reportedly decided to pull the plug on the series amid protests.
The show sparked a few petitions after viewers previewed the series about the 36-year-old rapper's 11 children with 10 different women a 19-year-old girlfriend. A representative for Oxygen reportedly told RumorFix.com that the network would not move forward with producing the show amid protests.
"As part of our development process, we have reviewed casting and decided not to move forward with the special," the representative told RumorFix Tuesday. "We will continue to develop compelling content that resonates with our young female viewers and drives the cultural conversation."

However, the website also reported that the rapper's representative has created a petition to keep his show on the air. According to RumorFix, Walker's representative claimed that they received over 100,000 emails asking for the show to air despite people's protests.
In a Change.org petition created by Kali Bowyer, a letter is addressed to Oxygen network titled "Oxygen Network: Put 'Shawty Lo and Baby Mamas back on the air!" According to the petition, the rapper is a father figure than many people can identify with.
"It's a sad day in America, when people attempt to reject a father that steps up to the plate, a father who is actively supporting his children & their mothers, not just monetarily but emotionally as well," the petition states. "Shawty Lo, is in fact a father figure that most young black men today coming from a similar past lifestyle and environment, should mimic in his parental role with 11 children, which are all clothed, fed, housed and loved in every way that a parent should love, protect and provide for their child."
The petition seems to counter that of Sabrina Lamb, one of the many people who were outraged after watching the trailer of the show, and created a Change.org petition titled "Cancel Shawty-Low show and all programming which demeans girls/women..." that managed to garner nearly 40,000 signatures.
