American Idol 2014 Season 13 Result: Winner Is Caleb Johnson - Jena Irene Runner-Up on Results Show
**UPDATE: Caleb Johnson was crowned the winner of American Idol Season 13 on Wednesday night, beating out Jena Irene into second place in the hit Fox reality TV singing competition show.

The American Idol 2014, Season 13, finale takes place tonight with Part 2 – The Results Show set to air with this season's winner being revealed. The show will start at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the Fox network.
The two remaining finalists on the Season 13 finale are Jena Irene and Caleb Johnson, but only one will be able to walk away with the title.
The two contestants sang three songs last night on the performance show, and showed exactly why they have been voted through to the final two.
The pair have blown away judges and voters with their performances over recent weeks and they just seem to get better and better.
Last night Jena Irene and Caleb Johnson sang "Dog Days Are Over" and "Dream On" respectively. Both performances were amazing, but Caleb was praised for perhaps giving his best performance yet of the season.
In the second round of songs Jena Irene sand "I Can't Help Falling In Love" where as Caleb Johnson sang "Maybe I'm Amazed." Once again both were praised for their near perfect performances.
For their final song Jena sang "We Are One" where as Caleb sang "As Long As You Love Me."
Both contestants were fantastic, but across the three performances and according to how each have done over recent weeks, many believe that Jena could be named the winner this time.
Fans have been given the power to vote their winner, and the voting lines remained open until 1 p.m. ET earlier today. The numbers are being verified and the winner will be revealed on tonight's show.
American Idol Season 13 will air on the Fox network from 8 p.m. ET in a two hour special.
