Analeigh Tipton and Stephen Merchant Will Guest Star on 'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9

New characters will guest star on the hit CBS comedy "The Big Bang Theory," and many fans speculate that they will play a big part on Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy's (Mayim Bialik) relationship.

Analeigh Tipton, an "America's Next Top Model" runner-up and lead of "Manhattan Love Story," is said to play a character in an upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory." Stephen Merchant from "Hello Ladies" will also join Tipton in an episode, and their characters are rumored to interact with Amy and Sheldon. No details are confirmed yet on what the two guest stars' characters will do on the show, but many fans are expect that the new characters will cause "more trouble," than help, to the ex-couple's now complicated relationship.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Tipton's character will be "new," since she already appeared on the show's second season, as herself. This was during the time that Howard (Simon Helberg) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) attempted to get into the "America's Next Top Model" house.
