Andy Dick Fired From Upcoming Film After Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Funnyman Andy Dick has been axed from an upcoming film after being accused of sexual misconduct.

This news comes after the 51-year-old comedian himself told The Hollywood Reporter that he had been fired from the upcoming indie film "Raising Buchanan." The publication first broke the news of Andy Dick's firing from the film due to the inappropriate behavior he had exhibited behind the scenes. Some of the allegations being thrown at the comedian would include him groping someone's genitalia, unwanted kissing and licking, and him propositioning at least four of the film's production crew.

During the interview, Andy had refuted the claims he had grabbed someone's genitalia. However, he didn't deny the licking/kissing allegations thrown at him as well as his sexual propositions.

"I didn't grab anybody's genitals. Of course I'm going to proposition people. I'm single, depressed, lonely and trying to get a date. They can just say no, and they probably did and then I was done," he says.

As for the kissing and licking part, Andy told the magazine that it was he was known for explaining, "I didn't grope anybody. I might have kissed somebody on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That's my thing—I licked Carrie Fisher at a roast. It's me being funny. I'm not trying to sexually harass people."

The actor has been known for his past legal troubles, which included himself exposing his genitalia, and he was even arrested for battery back in 2008. However, Andy explains that he doesn't grope people or even exposing himself anymore. He also referenced the current climate in the industry in regards to the sexual harassment allegations, as with the Harvey Weinstein scandal, and that he understands how delicate it is right now.

Andy also compared dating now and dating back in the 70s, and he admits that he is clueless right now as to the difference between sexual harassment and trying to get a date.
