Angelina Jolie-Pitt Admits that She and Brad 'Have Issues' Just Like Ordinary People

Angelina Jolie-Pitt graces the cover of Vogue magazine this November, and the 40-year-old celebrity admits that she and her husband, Brad Pitt, "have issues" just like any other couple.

Jolie-Pitt and her family posed for the magazine in a photo shoot by Annie Leibovitz, and the actress shared a few details about her upcoming movie with Brad, "By the Sea." The film will be the two's on-screen reunion after "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" in 2005.

Jolie-Pitt had written and directed the new movie, which tells about love, sorrow, and grief. She had written the story just after her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, died because of breast and ovarian cancer. It follows the story of a couple who tried to save their marriage by going on a holiday in France. When asked if the story is written based on her and Brad's relationship, the actress said, "It's not autobiographical." She also told Vogue that "if the characters' were even remotely close to our problems, we couldn't have made the film." However, the actress admitted that it's not always smooth sailing for the two. "Brad and I have our issues," she adds.

The mom of six also talked to the magazine about her thoughts on growing older and her surgeries. It's rare to hear someone from Hollywood who's excited to grow old, and the actress has no hesitations sharing her thoughts about it. "I'm 40. I can't wait to hit 50 and know I made it," Jolie-Pitt said.

The actress, who has gone through surgeries to prevent cancer, said that it was brutally hard, especially the hormone changes. However, she wished that her mom had these options before.

Now that she's menopause, Jolie-Pitt is just looking forward to getting older. "I feel grounded as a woman. I know others do too," she said.

"By the Sea" will premiere this Nov. 13 in the United States, and Dec. 11 in the United Kingdom.
