'Anime-Gataris' Episode 4 Spoilers: More Challenges Await the Anime Club as Series Progresses Beyond Crucial Third Episode
The Anime Club may have reclaimed their club room, but it seems that a new challenge is about to descend on them on the next episode of the Japanese anime series, "Anime-Gataris."
After the Student Council evicted them from their club room, Erika took the rest of the Anime Club to an uplifting trip to Akihabara where anime newbie Minoa learned about cosplay and the wonders of special battle anime.
It was also while on this trip that Minoa realized just how important having a club room was, as opposed to an out-of-school club. Unfortunately, this realization did not at all help her get through the speech she needed to do the following day at the emergency general meeting set by the Student Council to talk about their proposal to abolish the Anime Club.
In the end, it was the battle-anime loving Kai who delivered the winning speech that helped them win the majority votes and thus regain their club room.
However, two intriguing issues were also raised by this particular episode. The first one was that every year, an attempt to put up an Anime Club has always been shut down by the Student Council for reasons that the club's faculty adviser claimed not to know.
The other was the comment that the Student Council president said to herself about something involving Erika that might happen again.
What stories could be behind these intriguing issues, and how will they affect the Anime Club's fate in the long run?
The preview for the next episode hints at a possible answer as to what could have happened in the past that made the Student Council president say what she said about Erika. It also shows the Anime Club making good use of their club room by watching and discussing some anime shows and quite possibly listening to more of Kai's dramatic speeches.
"Anime-Gataris" airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and on Wednesdays at midnight JST on BS Fuji. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes will also be simulcast in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
