Apple iOS 9.1 News: New iOS 9 Update Released; Tech Experts Still Caution Users About Updating
The Apple iOS 9.0.2 update was just released recently to fix the bugs from the previous iOS 9 update, but it only made it worse since the "fix" also came with a lot of "issues." Just a couple of days ago, Apple once again has come up with another update, the iOS 9.1, and many Apple device owners are now cautious in updating their devices.
According to Forbes, the iOS 9.1 is just a "glorified bug fix," for the previous iOS 9.0 updates. The website said that the new update will now fix the unresponsive Calendar issue while in Month view, as well as the problem with the Apple Game Center, since some reported that it was not launching. iOS 9.1 will also resolve the problems with the activation errors, and it will now fix the "freezing" of an app, when being installed or updated.
The features of the new iOS 9 update were also listed by the website, and one of the new features includes over 150 new emojis, like taco, burrito, cheese wedge, champagne bottle, and a lot more. It is also said to have an update for Live Photos that will sense when the iPhone is being lowered or raised. The new update will stop Live Photos to record these movements automatically.
According to the Apple forums, many users confirmed that the issue resolved the previous issues they are having with iOS 9.0.2, like the touchscreen issues. However, the new Apple operating system is still far from being perfect and bug free, and there are still many isolated issues that are being reported on the forums every day.
Many tech experts are suggesting that this is a better iOS 9 version now, compared to the last two updates. However, for those not wanting to take a risk until it's fully tested, there's no harm in waiting for another update.
Meanwhile, Mac Rumors advised that the new iOS 9.1 has also updated its security feature and it will break the jailbreak iOS 9 version from PanGu.
