iPhone 7 Release Date, Specs Rumors: iPhone 6S and iPhone 6C Being Touted for September 2015 Launch
Though the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus just made their debut a few months ago, there's already a lot of speculation about the iPhone 7.
For one, the device will reportedly not be called the iPhone 7, but the iPhone 6s. There's also a rumor that this could be accompanied by the cheaper iPhone 6c. However, it has been rumored for a few years now that Apple is considering removing the "S" and "C" naming conventions from their upcoming devices due to the public's negative perception of them. According to Macworld.co, another option that has been proposed by avid Apple fans is that the iPhone 7 will be called the iPhone Air.
There are rumors that Apple will be coming out with three new handsets this year—the iPhone 6c which has a 4-inch screen, the iPhone 6s with a 4.7-inch display, and the iPhone 7 with a 5.5-inch screen.

Economic Daily News reports that Apple's supply chain partner, TPK, is working on a project that relates to "naked eye 3D screen", which means that it's a 3D screen that doesn't require the usage of special 3D glasses. It's possible that the iPhone 7 will feature a 3D display.
The iPhone 7's camera will reportedly be upgraded to a two lens system, according to Daring Fireball's John Gruber. In his podcast, Gruber said that a source claims that the two lens system will allow users to capture DSLR quality pictures.
As for new features, the iPhone 7 is said to have something called Force technology, which will enable the device to differentiate between a tap and a press. It is also rumored to have wireless charging capabilities and will have the new iOS9.
It is expected that the iPhone 7, 6s, and 6c will be launched in September 2015.
