Apple Watch 2 Tipped To Arrive Alongside iPhone 6c, To Come With Better Battery Life & New Health Features?

2016 is finally here and many are wondering when the Apple Watch 2 will exactly arrive. According to news.com.au, the second generation of the Apple Watch is expected to come around within the next three months.

Apple has already scheduled their first big event this year and it's set to take place this coming March. Sources revealed that the Apple Watch 2 is most likely going to be unveiled during the event alongside a smaller version of the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6c, and the iPad Air 3.

As noted in Information Week, the Cupertino-based tech company released the first edition of the smartwatch in March 2015. In September 2015, they also performed an upgrade by releasing the WatchOS 2. The release of the new OS allowed wearers to use the apps of the smartwatch without the use of an iPhone.

Now, the upcoming new version is expected to come with more enhancements and improvements on the weaknesses from the original one. There are no official details though on what the new device will bring along with it to its users. But there are rumors circulating around.

Vine Report detailed that the Apple Watch 2 may be incorporated with features like iPhone free Wi-Fi, a FaceTime video camera, and more efficient trackers for sleep and activity. Reports also said that Apple CEO Tim Cook gave out a clue about including new health features to the smartwatch. It is said to be "something adjacent to the Watch." Some speculate that perhaps Apple will add health sensors to the smartwatch straps.

A better battery life is also expected especially since many wished for it. Aside from a longer-lasting battery, people wish that the next Apple Watch will be waterproof for swimming and will have a built-in GPS for running. Apple fans can only hope that the company will hear their requests. Until then, they will have to stay tuned to know more about it.
