'Arrested Development' Season 4 Star Arrested: Jeff Garlin Road Rage

Jeff Garlin, fresh off his recent role as Maeby Funke's movie producing co-worker in Netflix's "Arrested Development" season four comeback, has been actually arrested.

It appears that Garlin, 51, suffered a bout of road rage. He engaged in an argument with another driver over a parking space, and apparently the argument heated up quickly, according to WetPaint.com. The on-screen light-hearted comedy actor Garlin allegedly became so angry that he broke the windows of the other driver's luxury vehicle, a Mercedes Benz.

Garlin was arrested and bail was set at $20,000, CBS news reports. He spent Saturday night in jail and was released on Sunday morning, but he faces charges of felony vandalism.

"Arrested Development" season 4 made its comeback exclusively on Netflix just under a month ago on Sunday May 26. Garlin appeared in five out of the 15 season four episodes.

In addition to the Netflix comedy, Jeff Garlin is well known for his role on the HBO comedy by Larry David, "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Garlin plays Jeff Greene, a character who is a close friend of Larry David on the show and is implied to be an exaggerated version of Garlin himself. The comedy star also served as co-executive producer for "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

Outside of comedy television, Garlin has been in several children's films. He voiced characters in the animated movies "Cars," and "Toy Story 3." The "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star also had a recurring role on the children's program "Wizards of Waverly Place."
