Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 Launched in India, Specs Include 5MP Camera, Android Lollipop, 1600mAh Battery
Asus has released a slightly smaller version of its ZenFone Go that was launched back in September. According to NDTV Gadgets, the Taiwan-based company recently launched the Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 smartphone in India.
And as expected, it comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 854 pixels, providing users vivid colors to look at. Android Authority detailed that the new variant only costs Rs. 5,299 or $80. It's a budget-friendly device but considering the price, there isn't really much to expect from it.
It does, however, come with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580M processor, which is built from four low power Cortex-A7 CPU cores. Paired along with it is a 1 GB of RAM. As for its storage capacity, the handset is equipped with 8 GB of internal storage that can be expanded further up to 64 GB via the microSD card slot.
Customers will also receive 100 GB of free Google Drive storage that will be valid for 2 years and 5 GB of free storage from Asus.
The device also features 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front camera for selfies. It is pre-installed with Android 5.1 Lollipop topped with Zen UI 2.0 and offers dual-SIM support. Measuring 135.00 x 67.00 x 10.70 (height x width x thickness), the device weighs 133.50 grams and is powered by a 1600mAh removable battery.
The basic connectivity options present include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and 3G. Sensors included are proximity sensor, accelerometer and gyroscope. The ZenFone Go 4.5, just like the original variant, does not come with 4G LTE though.
Interested buyers can choose from the color options available which are Pearl White, Charcoal Black, Rogue Pink and Flash Blue, as noted in Financial Express. Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 is now available on Flipkart. It will also be made available in other Asus exclusive stores beginning January.
