'Basketball Wives' Season 6: Evelyn's Feud With Tami, Jackie
A brand-new season and revamped version of "Basketball Wives" will be premiering this month, and a steady stream of spoilers about the upcoming sixth season has started to leak out from the main cast.
Last week, Evelyn Lozada shared photo on Instagram announcing that she will be returning for the new season of the reality TV series.
A short teaser for the upcoming season also aired during the commercial break of last week's episode of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta." The clip shows Lozada and Tami Roman walking towards a referee as he is about to throw a basketball in the air. The two women both jump for the ball, but the clip abruptly ends without revealing which of them got their hands on it.
In an interview with Hollywood Today, Roman hinted that there will definitely be some drama between herself and Lozada. She explained to the host that she tried to be civil with her co-star during an encounter while they were filming the upcoming series. However, she was provoked by what her former friend told her.
Another promo teaser was also released this week in which Lozada is seen to be in conflict with Jackie Christie. However, the reason for their supposed feud remains unclear at the moment.
"You have to remember she stepped into my family business," Jackie said. She went on to add, "It's an atomic bomb waiting to blow."
"Basketball Wives" concluded its fifth season back in 2013, featuring Roman, Lozada and Shaunie O'Neal as members of the show's cast. However, with the forthcoming return of the series, there will be a few new faces added to the VH1 series along with the inclusion of familiar cast members from "Basketball Wives: LA."
The sixth season of "Basketball Wives" is set to premiere on Monday, April 17 at 9 p.m. EDT on VH1.
