'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' News: Ben Affleck Feels 'Ton of Pressure'
March 2016 is still a few months ahead from now, but Ben Affleck, who plays Batman in the upcoming film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," is now feeling the pressure for his new film to do well in the box office.
According to Variety, the expectations are "extremely high" for everyone, especially for the stars of the film, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, who plays Superman/Clark Kent. Affleck said he'd be lying if he said that there isn't a "ton of pressure" on him. The website said that the actor feels the pressure since Warner Bros. struggled this year with many of its films, and their superhero movie next year is expected to change what's happening to the studio right now. "Nonetheless, there's a lot of pressure on it. If it doesn't do well, that will be extremely disappointing," he said.
The 43-year-old actor hopes that all will go well once "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" premieres next year, since he's also expected to star for another DC movie with Warner Bros., which is rumored to be a solo "Batman" film, and he's also slated to star in "Justice League."
Meanwhile, People reported that Affleck and Jennifer Garner, his estranged wife, are talking amicably on their plans for their kids this coming holidays. A source told the magazine that the couple is focusing on "making the day fun for the kids." The source added that the "Miracles from Heaven" actress just wanted to "get along with Ben for the kids' sake."
Affleck and Garner announced their divorce plans last June, which is reportedly due to the actor's alleged affair with their family nanny, Christine Ouzounian. The two have three kids together, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will premiere on Mar. 25, 2016.
