'Beauty and the Beast' Season 2 Spoilers: Cat and Vincent Move to the Suburbs; Kristin Kreuk Previews Finale
"Beauty and the Beast" season two returns to The CW on Monday with a brand-new episode entitled "Ever After."
Just three episodes away from the season finale, "Ever After" will see Vincent and Catherine living a "normal" life. The couple heed Agent Knox's offer to leave New York City for the suburbs. There, "Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn" try to adjust to waving to neighbors and enjoy their dream home as they try to fly under the radar. However, forces beyond their control threaten to expose them, according to TVLine.
Also in the antepenultimate episode, Vincent is in constant threat of returning to a life in the shadows as officials constantly ask for his help. Consequent to Vincent's inner beast and his history, Cat's life is often endangered. Nevertheless, actress Kristin Kreuk previously revealed that her character will do anything for the man she loves. When asked if Cat would "play dirty" to help Vincent, Kreuk said, "Absolutely."
"She's going to do a lot of things that are against the law, and put her career on the line," the actress previewed, according to TVLine.
Furthermore, Kreuk promised "Beauty and the Beast" fans that these final episodes will prepare them for an exciting third season.
"You'll see Catherine and Vincent working together, trying to figure stuff out," she said. "And we might even see more of Catherine's family history that's revealed. All of that, I think, will be more in line with what the fans gravitate toward. [As for season three] we don't know yet because it's still early, but what I think [EP] Brad [Kern] will want to do more of that in the 13 episodes that we do next season."
Kreuk also pointed to disguises and period costumes in episodes to come, in addition to promising an "exciting" season two finale.
"It's interesting, because we shot [the finale] before we knew what was going on [with the series renewal], so there's both a cliffhanger and closure," the actress told TVLine. "Those two things both exist within the final episode. It's a pretty exciting episode."
"Beauty and the Beast" airs on The CW Mondays at 9 p.m. EST. The synopsis for "Ever After" is as follows: "Cat and Vincent seek a normal life."
