Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Split News: Actor Says Ex is Allowed to Talk About the Divorce

Following Jennifer Garner's recent interview for Vanity Fair, Ben Affleck has finally spoken about his thoughts on his ex-wife's comments about their divorce.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Affleck said "it's fine," referring to Garner's comments about life after their painful divorce. "She's allowed to talk about it," he said, adding that they're "on great terms." The "Batman vs Superman" star also explained that his former flame just wanted to get the discussion done with so she won't have to explain herself over again after the fire has gone down.

When the couple announced their split in June of last year, they said they would continue to raise their three children together as the kids are their priority no matter what. Reports flew around the internet and tabloids saying they still live together to make their kids adjust smoothly to the situation.

While Affleck didn't talk about the said rumor, he and Garner are planning to take the kids to Europe for vacation after he films "Justice League." The kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, are also going to watch him film the said movie, with Garner in tow.

Batman went on to talk about how his son has been told that his father is the Dark Knight. It turns out the 4-year-old isn't a fan of the Joker as he thinks the FedEx delivery man is his dad's biggest enemy. According to Affleck, his son would get his attention whenever the FedEx delivery guy dropped by to deliver a package. "Dad, the Joker's outside," Samuel would tell his dad.

"The burden's on me to go out there and give the guy an extra 20 bucks to pantomime a whole Adam West kung fu battle," Affleck said.

As for putting his personal issues out of the set, Affleck explained that his performance on set and delivery is more important than the personal problems he has.

Affleck's upcoming movie, "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice," will hit the big screens on March 25, 2016.
