Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Spotted Attending Church Together

Despite having a  tumultuous week, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner recently attended a church service together.

The estranged couple appeared to be in good spirits as they headed to a church service at the Community Methodist Church in Pacific Palisades Sunday, Oct. 15. Although they arrived separately, the duo still sported smiles for the photos.

The "Alias" star sported a black sleeveless top and knee-length skirt with a colorful pattern. She also wore a pair of black high heels and shades. Affleck, on the other hand, wore a light blue shirt and grey pants. He paired his outfit with black shoes.

Additional photos show Affleck having a chat with his eldest daughter Violet. The father and daughter duo held hands as they left the church.

Affleck and Garner's outing comes just days after Hilarie Burton accused the "Justice League" star of groping her during a 2003 episode of "Total Request Live." Affleck has since apologized on Twitter, saying, "I acted inappropriately toward Ms. Burton and I sincerely apologize."

The accusations against the 45-year-old went on when a makeup artist named Annamarie Tendler claimed Affleck touched her inappropriately during a Golden Globes party back in 2014. The actor has yet to comment on her allegations.

Last week, a source told E! News that Garner is "very annoyed" with the negative reports surrounding her ex-husband. The insider further explained that the actress is not happy with how Affleck's actions are affecting their kids.

"She tries to shield them from any and all publicity and scrutiny. She's taking her kids to school and to all of their activities. As far as they know nothing has changed and all is well. That is always her goal but she's been pretty frustrated with him," the source went on to say.
