Bentley Bentayga Mulliner Release Date, Specs News: Bespoke Luxury SUV Revealed
Bentley has introduced the most luxurious sports utility vehicle (SUV) the British automaker has ever created — the Bentayga Mulliner.
Designed by Bentley's in-house personal commissioning division, Mulliner, the newest flagship model in the lineup comes with exclusive and bespoke features that further highlight the Bentayga's sculpted and modern design language.
New exclusive exterior features include Duo Tone paintwork, 22-inch Paragon seven-spoke wheels with floating wheel centers, body-colored lower bodywork and bright chrome lower bumper grilles.
Meanwhile, inside the cabin, bespoke features include a two-tone interior color scheme with hand-stitched embroidery and contrast stitching, an Ombré Burr Walnut finish and adjustable mood lighting. The rear center console also comes with a Mulliner bottle cooler, an illuminated chilling cabinet and Cumbria Crystal flutes.
Furthermore, there is a 20-speaker Naim for Bentley audio system with a 21-channel amplifier and a Parking Heater function, which allows the cabin to be heated or cooled even when the engine is turned off.
According to the automaker, the bespoke components featured in the Bentayga Mulliner positions it as the "pinnacle luxury SUV."
The Bentley Bentayga Mulliner will also be one of the fastest SUVs in the market as it is powered by a 6.0-liter W12 engine that delivers 600 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque. This allows the luxury SUV to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour (mph) in four seconds and attain a top speed of 187 mph.
The Bentayga Mulliner comes standard with Dynamic Ride and specific trims will come with a suite of driver-assistance features including Park Assist, Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Assist, Night Vision and a Head-Up Display.
Due to the handcrafted nature of the Bentayga Mulliner, it will only be produced in limited numbers. The luxury SUV will be available to order this spring but pricing has yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, a special one-off model will be on display at the Geneva Motor Show next week. It will feature a unique pattern depicting the Monte Rosa mountain range.
