Beyonce, Jay Z 'Barely Speaking' on Tour?
Beyonce and Jay Z are reportedly growing more distant amid claims that they are experiencing marital woes.
The famous couple are currently performing around the US as part of their "On The Run" tour and while they appear to be happy on stage, insiders claim they are distant behind closed doors.
"They are barely speaking to each other. After they perform they go off separately," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
"There's a ton of tension, they're not happy. It's all for the cameras," added the source.
Earlier this month reports claimed Beyonce, 32, and Jay, 44, had sought the help of a marriage counselor in a bid to save their six-year marriage.
The hip-hop power couple has been subject to divorce rumors since May due to the rapper's now infamous elevator incident with Beyonce's sister Solange.
"It might sound drastic but in America especially, counseling is fairly standard procedure," a source told the Daily Mirror U.K.
"They have known their therapist for a long time and try to have weekly sessions just to keep communication open and make sure there are no misunderstandings," the source added.
During a recent show Beyonce fueled reports of marital woes by making a lyrical change to her song "Resentment."
"Been ridin' with you for 12 years. Why did I deserve to be treated this way by you?" Beyonce sang.
Fans were quick to point out that the singer changed the lyrics from the original "six years" to 12 years in a bid to personalize the song, while critics claim that Beyonce simply wanted to spice up the show.
Beyonce married the hip-hop mogul in a private ceremony in 2008 and while they have been married for six years, they have been involved for a total of 12 years. In 2012, the couple welcomed the birth of their first child Blue Ivy.
