Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani News: Country Singer Talks About Start of Romance With Stefani

"The Voice" mentor Blake Shelton recently gushed about his girlfriend Gwen Stefani during his concert in Oklahoma on Friday.

When the "No Doubt" singer joined Shelton up on stage, he gave her a kiss, a precursor to more adorable moments they shared in front of the crowd.

At the private concert, Shelton, also dished on the early days of their relationship, after they met as coaches on NBC's singing competition "The Voice" in 2015.

"We were starting to hang out together and mess around," recalled the country singer, as Stefani looked up at him in surprise. The audience cheered the couple on as he continued his story.

"You know, texting each other, starting out as friends," Shelton added, further making his girlfriend smile.

The concert which was held for 150 fans in Tishomingo was in celebration of Shelton's first restaurant, Ole Red, where Stefani was photographed with him, hand-in-hand as they walked out together.

Shelton plans to open more restaurants in the future, which will highlight southern cuisine, will have a bar, and a platform for performers. In the spring, the country singer is expected to open a three-story Nashville outpost.

Speaking to The Oklahoman, Shelton admitted that he has always envisioned having a place he can drop by anytime to have a drink and where he can play country music. But according to this new restaurateur, his plans are for the community, as he intends to build the economy of his adopted hometown.

Furthermore, the singers were able to raise over $30,000 for a local charity, Johnston County Reaching Out.

On Saturday night, Shelton held a free concert for the locals in downtown Tishomingo. His girlfriend attended with three of her sons with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

Shelton and Stefani went public with their relationship in November 2015.
