Boardwalk Empire Season 4 Spoilers: 'Silician Gangster' Joining Cast?

HBO has released the start date for season 4 of their popular prohibition-era drama "Boardwalk Empire." The show, staring Steve Buscemi and Stephen Graham, will return on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013.

There are rumors that season 4 will welcome a new character to the squad of gangsters. It appears that a Sicilian gangster will join the cast in episode 6, season 4. And, it seems, that Sicilian gangster will be around for multiple episodes.

SpoilerTV.com published an excerpt of a casting notice which reads, "For Boardwalk Empire episode 4.06, a recurring role is being cast: a Sicilian gangster from Florida."

Kelly MacDonald (Margaret Thompson) and Gretchen Mol (Gillian Darmody) will return, Terence Winter told EnStarz.

For those who need to catch up and re-watch season 3, the blu-ray set will be made available for purchase in August.

HBO made a few other fall lineup announcements recently. A new show involving Larry David, "Clear History," will debut Saturday Aug. 10 at 9 p.m. central. Other veteran comedy actors including Bill Hader, Kate Hall, and Danny McBride will star alongside David. He'll also be joined by fellow "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star J.B. Smoove.

HBO will debut another new comedy, "Hello Ladies," Sept. 29 at 10:30 p.m. "Hello Ladies" will star Stephen Merchant.
