'Boardwalk Empire' Season Finale Premieres Oct. 26

"Boardwalk Empire" is an American crime drama television series set in Atlantic City, New Jersey during the Prohibition Era and is premiered on the HBO network. The series is created by Terence Winter and stars Steve Buscemi and Nucky Thompson. It was inspired by the book "Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City."

The series was renewed by HBO for a fifth and final season consisting of eight episodes with the first episode premiering Sept. 7 last month. As fast as it was premiered, the series' final episode will be showing on HBO on October 26 and is titled "El Dorado."

"After a shakeup, Nucky looks to relocate to Manhattan from Atlantic City. Margaret impresses Nucky and a grain company stockholder; Luciano tends to unfinished business while establishing a mob commission," the HBO official synopsis reads. "Willie shares underworld details with his boss, the U.S. Attorney; Nucky visits Gillian at the hospital. In 1987, Nucky copes with a family crisis, while making a deal with the Commodore that will settle his future."

In the previous episode, two characters are killed. Chalky White hands himself over to Dr. Valentin Narcisse and gets shot by his men but not before knowing that Maitland is his daughter and is sure that they will be safe and far away from Narcisse.

Meanwhile, Nelson van Alden was to redeem himself by killing Al Capone but before he could strangle the crime boss to death, he was shot at the back of the head.

As for the fate of Nucky and his endeavors to leave Atlantic City, will he be able to escape and will Lucky be successful in getting rid of Nucky once and for all?
