Bobbi Kristina Brown Coma Condition Latest News: Breathing With Help of Ventilator
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of the late Whitney Houston, was found face down in a filled bathtub at her Georgia home last Saturday and is currently hospitalized.
Bobbi Kristina's husband Nick Gordon and a friend allegedly found her unconscious in the bathtub and reportedly helped to revive her before officers arrived and paramedics took over, after which she was transported to North Fulton Hospital, according to E! News.
The 21-year old's medical emergency occurred almost three years to the day her mother was found dead at age 48 at eerily similar circumstances. Houston was found in a filled bathtub at a Beverly Hills hotel room. According to a coroner's report, cocaine played a part in the death of the singer, who had battled substance abuse for years.
Police said that no drugs were found in the preliminary investigation at Bobbi Kristina's home. Her cousin, Jerome Brown, told E! News on Saturday, "Krissi doesn't do drugs" and that she also "hasn't been drinking."
On Sunday, Bobby Brown released a statement about his daughter's condition.
"Privacy is requested in this matter," said the 45-year old in the statement. "Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."
Bobby Brown's lawyer also released a statement regarding the 21-year old's condition.
"The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, is accurate," his lawyer said. "No additional information will be forthcoming."
