Good news for Dortmund is that striker Robert Lewandowski has recovered from a thigh problem he picked up in the 2-0 victory over Mainz on Saturday.

It has also been announced that midfielders Sebastian Kehl and Sven Bender are fit to return after missing out at the weekend.

The last time Dortmund were in the Champions League semi final was 15 years ago when they were knocked out by Real Madrid. They will be hoping to gain revenge tonight and likely make it an all German affair in the final, after Bayern Munich's 4-0 win against Barcelona last night.

Dortmund has been rocked recently by the news that key midfielder Mario Gotze had had his release clause activated by an offer by arch rivals Bayern Munich, and that he would be leaving to play for Bayern next season.

"The only way the timing could have been worse would have been if it came four hours before the match," Klopp said in Tuesday's press conference, according to UEFA.com.

Klopp added: "Everyone should support the team tomorrow, no matter what -- Real Madrid cannot capitalize on this," he added. "If someone does not understand how much heart has gone into getting this far, they should not come."
