Carole Middleton Visit to Hospital: Kate's Parents See Grandchild for First Time (VIDEO)

Carole Middleton, mother to the Duchess of Cambridge, made a visit to St. Mary's hospital on Tuesday to see her grandson for the first time.

Kate Middleton gave birth to a son on Monday as the world watched on in high anticipation. The son will eventually become the next king of England. But for Michael and Carole Middleton, the little boy was just their first grandson.

Middleton's parents arrived at St. Mary's hospital at the Lindo Wing at around 3 pm in England. Despite coming from a middle-class background in Buckinghamshire, the grandparents are not related to royal blood. Their appearance said so much, as the elder Middleton entered the hospital door wearing a gray blue dress made by Irish designer Orla Kiely. Her husband was dressed equally as well in khaki slacks, and blue striped button down shirt, and a navy blue sport coat.
