'Celebrity Apprentice' News, Elimination and Results Recap: Episode 4 Sees 2 Celebrities Eliminated
Last Monday's episode of "Celebrity Apprentice" had the celebrities tackle two tasks, and two celebrities were eliminated by Donald Trump.
The first hour required Team Vortex and Team Infinity to create an interactive marketing event to promote Ivanka Trump's shoe line. Vivica A. Fox's team went with a café theme to show off the shoes, while Kenya Moore's team chose to display the footwear in an outdoor recreation of Nordstrom. Kenya's team won the challenge, and Vivica brought Shawn Johnson and Kate Gosselin to the boardroom with her.
After Donald and Ivanka informed Vivica's team that they lost the task for not catering more to Nordstrom in the mobile boutique, Vivica turned to Ivanka and said, "We focused so much on you. You're beautiful. You're amazing. And that's what we honed in on." Then, Donald called out Shawn for her refusal to step up when she refused to be project manager for the task. Ultimately, Shawn was fired.
The second task required both teams to come up with a viral video to promote Chock Full O' Nuts coffee. This time, Leeza Gibbons and Lorenzo Lamas stepped up to become project managers.
Leeza enlisted Brandi Glanville and Kenya Moore to engage in a fake catfight for the video, and as the two already had bad blood between them, this was a cinch for the two Bravo stars. Then Leeza had the catfight end with Kenya and Brandi in bed with Ian Ziering and Johnny Damon. Meanwhile, Lorenzo had Geraldo Rivera act as a song-and-dance man over two different time periods.
In the boardroom, Donald asked Brandi and Kenya about the bad blood between them, and Kenya said that Brandi spoke badly of her to the press. Then Kenya said, "I didn't bring up LeAnn Rimes with her when I had my scene. I didn't bring up the fact that her husband left her for a younger, prettier woman."
Later, the Chock Full O' Nuts people said that they preferred Team Leeza's video, which meant that Team Lorenzo had to go to the boardroom. Because he refused to bring anyone to the boardroom with him, Lorenzo was fired.
"Celebrity Apprentice" airs on Mondays at 8/7c on NBC.
