'Chicago Fire' Season 4 Spoilers: A Tornado Hits the City
The upcoming episode of "Chicago Fire" is expected to bring drama to Chicago as they prepare for a tornado heading straight for the city.
The previous episode of the series saw the crossover between the Chicago-based shows "Chicago PD" and "Chicago Med." It put a focus on the life of Hank Voight, played by Jason Beghe.
The creator of "Chicago Fire" recently shared some insight about their decision for the crossover during an interview with The Hollyood Reporter. He stated, "It does bring all three shows together. The one personal piece of storytelling it unearths is Voight's back-story with his late wife. We've established that she died years prior to when he appeared on 'Fire,' but not the circumstances of her death and what Voight has to deal with in terms of dealing with that memory."
With that, the upcoming episode of the series is expected to take a dramatic turn. According to the recently release statement by NBC, the upcoming episode will be titled "The Path of Destruction." According to Hollywood Hills, the synopsis for the episode reads, "A tornado is going to threaten the city and Herrmann (David Eigenberg) will discover the path may hit close to home. Chili (Dora Madison) and Brett (Kara Killmer) are going to lock heads when Chili makes a critical mistake that leaves a victim breathless, prompting Brett to report to Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) regarding Chili's erratic behavior."
Aside from the natural disaster, it seems as though the character will be faced with their own turmoil. It was also revealed that Otis, played by Yuri Sardarov, will be turning to Dawson, played by Monica Raymund, regarding his personal issues. In addition, Severide, played by Kinney, will be helping Alex Ward, played by Liza Bennett, on an investigation on a home that could be a threat to the Homeland security.
The upcoming episode is expected to star Jesse Spencer, Joe Minoso, Christian Stolte, and Steve R. McQueen. They will be joined by several guest stars sucha s Jon Seda, Brian Tee, and Robyn Coffin.
Episode 11 of "Chicago Fire" season 4 is expected to air on NBC on Jan. 19
