'Chicago Fire' Season 6 Episode 7 Spoilers: Boden Comes Face to Face with Music Idol
Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) will have a brief emotional breakdown in the upcoming episode of "Chicago Fire."
In the episode titled "A Man's Legacy," the synopsis reveals that the squad will deal with a morose Boden during a rescue operation. Apparently, the chief will become a wreck when he rescues a famous blues player from his burning apartment. It remains unclear why the singer has such a huge effect on Boden. Perhaps, the man is his music idol and to be the one who saves him from certain death is a liberating experience.
Elsewhere, Otis (Yuri Sardarov) will be busy planning Molly's North's grand opening. He wants everything to be perfect to impress the lady who has stolen his heart. Otis is very interested in Lily (guest star Ariane Rinehart), the daughter of the former owner of the place. The episode will see the firefighter struggling as the big day approaches. As for Dawson (Monica Raymund), she can only hope that her father will survive his ordeal and get well soon.
Season 6B is also expected to reveal how Firehouse 51 is adjusting to Casey (Jesse Spencer) being promoted a captain. In a recent interview, Christian Stolte, who plays Mouch, said that those who are older than Casey could not help but feel bad the someone younger now outranks them. According to him, in Mouch's case, it was okay because the former alderman has proven how deserving he was of the position.
"I had to decide very early on how I feel about these young guys shooting past me in promotions," Stolte said. "I decided that I was a never exceptionally ambitious guy. I don't like paperwork or being part of the big picture. I decided that Casey is my hero and that I would follow him anywhere. And when he becomes a Captain, that elevates me in a sense."
"Chicago Fire" season 6, episode 7 will air on Thursday, Jan. 4, at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
