Chris Brown and Rihanna News: 2009 Assault Could Now Lead to 4 Years in Prison for Brown (VIDEO)
Chris Brown could face four years in jail for his assault on Rihanna in 2009 after a Los Angeles judge revoked his probation.
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney has officially filed legal documents requesting the revocation of Brown's five year probationary status that he previously received in relation to the assault.
The move has come after Brown had an incident with authorities following an alleged hit and run accident in California.

The court papers allege that Brown "willfully and unlawfully" broke the law in the hit and run.
It is alleged that Brown intentionally declined to show his driver's license and provide accurate insurance details after hitting a Mercedes Benz earlier this year in May.
However, in a statement released by Brown's lawyers, it is believed that Mercedes Benz owner Olga Gure-Kovalenko, who Brown allegedly hit, does not want to press charges against him, according to The Daily Mail.
According to celebrity news website TMZ, the victim in the hit and run incident was expected to attend Brown's hearing to support the singer.
However, it has been reported that even if the LA Attorney's Office decides not to pursue charges against Brown due to the victim's stance, the county district will still push for the revocation of Brown's probation as they allege the singer has broken his probationary terms.
Brown has been ordered to return to court on August to respond to the D.A.'s allegations.
If the judge decides to revoke his probation after the August hearing, Brown could face up to four years in prison.
