Chris Brown Has Assault Case Dismissed, Still Could Face Civil Lawsuit
Chris Brown is walking a little taller after a judge dismissed an assault charge that had been levied against the singer by a woman after an incident at a night club.
Deanna Gines, 24, claimed the singer knocked her over at Heat Ultra Lounge, which caused ligament damage to her knee that would require surgery.
There were questions surrounding her injuries from the beginning and the club owner denied that Brown was ever involved in the incident.

The case was eventually tossed after Gines was spotted walking around on her "injured" leg after the alleged incident and the Anaheim City Attorney decided not to proceed with the case.
Gines is still threatening to sue Brown, but no legal papers have been filed as of yet.
Brown, recently had his probation revoked, resulting in 1,000 hours of community labor, but he had two other misdemeanor charges against him dropped.
Brown was placed on probation after physically assaulting ex-girlfriend and singer Rihanna in 2009. Now, a Los Angeles County district attorney had the singer's probation revoked after one woman claimed that he hit her car and attempted to flee the scene last May.
However, The Los Angeles Times reported that prosecutors dismissed charges of driving without a license or insurance, which left Brown and his attorneys only to deal with allegations of a hit-and-run that he has repeatedly denied and pled not guilty to.
Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, filed a motion to dismiss the remaining charge against Brown, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Just before the news of his probation being revoked was announced last week, Brown took to Twitter to defend himself and call for prayer from over 12 million Twitter followers.
"Pray," Brown exclaimed to fans on Twitter last week. "I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run, I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C'mon!!"
