Chris Brown Postpones Tour After Judge Refuses to Sign Off on Travel

Chris Brown was scheduled to go on a 26-day tour around the U.S., but on Monday evening, the singer took to Instagram to let his fans know that the upcoming "Between the Sheets" tour with Kendrick Lamar has been postponed because he has not completed his community service and is not allowed to travel.

Brown posted a picture of himself hanging his head and captioned it, "I would first like to apologize to all the fans and people who have been supporters of me and all the music over the years. The beginning of the BTS tour has been moved to later dates now. The judge would not sign off on my travel to do the tour until I finish these last 100 hours of community service."

"I promise that I am busting my [expletive] doing it every day until it's complete. This is the most disappointing news I've gotten in a while. Everything happens for a reason so I wanted to personally inform my fans. The show must go on," added Brown.

The singer also gave an update on his community service.

"Out of 1,000 hours I only have 100 left. I will work my [expletive] off to complete it and I will be on that stage. Once again I'm sorry for the delay. I love yall! We will let yall know the dates that are changed. It's not cancelled. Just moved around a couple of weeks," he wrote.

Two weeks ago, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Brandin revoked the singer's probation after he travelled without approval to perform at a concert and failed to complete his community sentence on time. However, the judge allowed Brown to remain free until a March 20 hearing, which is when the judge will get an update from probation officials.

Brown was sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty to felony assault after a physical altercation with ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in February 2009.
